Young Democrats Endorse Candidates

I received a press release sent out by the Young Democrats of Allegheny County last night announcing their endorsements. The group made mostly safe incumbent choices in their endorsements. I'm surprised they didn't go with the youngest candidates in some of the races such as County Controller and City Council 1, 3, and 7. I'm pretty sure there is at least one candidate under 40 running in all of those races.

Young Democrats of Allegheny County Endorse Candidates for 2011

Allegheny County, Pa. –The members of the Young Democrats of Allegheny County (YDAC) are pleased to announce their endorsement of candidates for the 2011 election.

“As Democrats we should all be very excited at the numerous intelligent, qualified, and dedicated people who are willing to serve the public for the greater good of Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh,” stated President Michael Phillips
